Fly: tap or click anywhere on the field and your saucer flies there. Hold and drag to steer. On a keyboard, WASD or the arrow keys work too.

Beam: hold the big red button (or Space) to fire the gravity ray. Cows inside the green circle get pulled up into the ship. Your saucer slows down while the beam is on.

Cows run. Get close and they panic. Use the minimap in the corner to find the stragglers.

Golden cows are worth 3 points. In single player they also add 5 seconds.

Single player: harvest every cow before time runs out to reach the next level. Leftover seconds become bonus points.

The locals fight back from level 3. Farmers guard their farms with shotguns, then come lynch mobs, sheriffs, outlaw gangs, the army, and eventually rival saucers that steal your cows. A red ! means someone is about to fire: move!

Health: your saucer starts with 5 health bars. Hits chip them away; lose them all and you crash and burn. Rare floating hearts restore a bar, clearing a level repairs a bar, and every 5 levels you earn an extra bar.

Combos: beam cows up one after another (within about 2½ seconds) to build a combo. From x4, every cow pays bonus points, and your saucer catches fire.

Stars: clear a level with time to spare for up to 3 stars. Your best stars are saved.

Last few cows: they get tired, and arrows on the screen edge point the way.

Bonus Barn: after every 5th level, 30 seconds of golden cows with no enemies. Then you get an extra health bar and a full repair.

Multiplayer: the host shares a room code. Whoever has the most points when the clock hits zero wins. In Classic, a new herd arrives each time one is wiped out. Beam a cow out of someone else's beam to snatch it. The leader wears a crown, and cows spot the crown from further away.
