Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Dead Center Apps LLC ("we", "us") for deadcenterapps.com, our games and our apps, including Dew Messenger ("Dew"). By using them you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Who can use our services

Our games are for everyone the store rating allows. Dew is for ages 13 and up. When you start Dew you confirm your date of birth, which can't be changed afterwards, and accept the safety statement for your age group. If you are 13 to 17, you need your parent's or guardian's permission, and you can only message people who have also added you. Children under 13 may not use Dew. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13 we will close it.

Your account

Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Dew asks you to verify your email and phone number, and asks for that check again before a new device can read your messages. Tell us at DeadCenterApps@gmail.com if you think someone else is using your account.

Encryption and what we can't see

Dew messages, photos, voice and video messages and calls are end-to-end encrypted. We can't read or listen to them and can't hand their contents to anyone. That also means we can't check what people send: you are responsible for your own messages, and we can only act on what users report (including any messages a reporter chooses to share with us). We may still keep and disclose the limited information we do have (such as account details, who you have added, and when messages were sent) where the law requires it.

Rules

You agree not to use our services to:

• harass, bully, threaten, stalk, scam or impersonate anyone;
• create, share or ask for sexual content involving anyone under 18, or contact a minor in a sexual or exploitative way, groom a minor, or try to get a minor to meet you or keep secrets from their parents or guardians;
• share someone's private images or personal information without their permission;
• spread malware, spam or illegal content, or do anything illegal;
• break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the security of our services, or open accounts to evade a ban.

We may remove content we can see, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we report child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement as the law requires. You can block and report anyone in Dew from their chat info.

Purchases and subscriptions

Dew is free with ads. "No ads" is a one-time purchase; Dew+ is a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it (in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions, or on the website for web subscriptions). Themes, gold and Flaming Sparrow Eggs are digital items with no cash value. Refunds follow Google Play's policy for purchases made there and the law where you live.

Disclaimers and limits

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep them secure and running, but we don't promise they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will always be delivered. Don't rely on Dew for emergencies: call your local emergency number. We aren't responsible for what other users send or do. To the extent the law allows, Dead Center Apps LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date; Dew asks you to accept its safety statement again when it changes. These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA. Questions: DeadCenterApps@gmail.com, Dead Center Apps LLC.
